As a fellowship trained sports medicine physician, Dr. Fennell creates a bridge between family medicine and orthopedics. He offers a wide range of services to patients of all ages from splinting and casting to specialized treatment for athletes with diabetes, asthma and hypertension. As he grew up wrestling and playing football in a small town in New Jersey, he developed a passion for helping injured athletes return to play quickly and safely. Dr. Fennell’s training also enables him to help patients with repetitive motion injuries return to work pain free. Dr. Fennell is a team physician for Lenoir-Rhyne University and Fred T. Foard High School and is a member of the American Medical Association for Sports Medicine.
