Board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist specializes in women’s care and minimally invasive surgery.

FryeCare Physicians Network welcomes Matt Tuck, MD, a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist, to its medical team. Dr. Tuck provides comprehensive care for adolescent and adult women, with a special focus on minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, endometriosis management and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). He offers a full spectrum of women’s health services, including routine and high-risk obstetrics, infertility care, abnormal uterine bleeding, hormone replacement therapy, preventive gynecologic care and robotic-assisted surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

At the start of his medical career, Dr. Tuck pursued rural medicine, serving communities in North Carolina and Oregon. He was previously part of Frye Regional’s medical staff from 2020 to 2021.

Throughout his career, Dr. Tuck has held academic and leadership positions, most recently serving as assistant clerkship director at the University of Pittsburg in Pennsylvania, where he trained residents and medical students. His research and publications cover a range of topics including genetic studies in Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser syndrome, fetal growth curves and advances in minimally invasive surgical techniques.

Dr. Tuck earned his medical degree from Augusta University, in Augusta, Geogia, and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia, where he served as chief administrative resident and received the Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons’ Outstanding Minimally Invasive Surgery Resident Award.
