Ateet Kosaraju, MD

Ateet Kosaraju is a board-certified cardiologist who specializes in general cardiology and interventional cardiology. He treats heart failure, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, arrhythmias and coronary artery disease. Dr. Kosaraju performs minimally invasive procedures including angioplasty, atherectomy, stent placement, mechanical thrombectomy for pulmonary embolism and transcatheter closure of patent foramen ovale (PFO) and atrial septal defects (ASD). He also performs and interprets echocardiograms, stress tests and Holter monitors to support the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. Dr. Kosaraju works closely with patients to help them understand their condition and treatment options through education and clear communication. He earned his medical degree from Deccan College of Medical Sciences in Hyderabad, India, completed his residency at Nassau University in East Meadow, New York, and completed fellowships in general cardiology and interventional cardiology at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina.
