Brenda Byrd, FNP-C

Brenda Byrd is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who provides comprehensive internal medicine care for adults ages 18 and older. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses, chronic disease management, medication management and preventive care. Her clinical expertise includes reviewing and interpreting diagnostic tests, including laboratory results and electrocardiograms (EKGs), as well as performing minor procedures such as incision and drainage and skin lesion cryotherapy. Brenda is passionate about empowering patients through education and helping them incorporate health and wellness into their daily lives. She earned her graduate degree from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky, and is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care that supports physical, mental, emotional and overall well-being.
