Jonathan Mayl, MD

Jonathan Mayl is a board-certified interventional cardiologist who is also board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of complex cardiovascular conditions using advanced minimally invasive techniques. His expertise includes cardiac catheterization, coronary angioplasty, stenting, coronary atherectomy, intravascular imaging, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR/TAVI), mitral valve repair and structural heart procedures such as patent foramen ovale (PFO) and other defect closures. He also offers minimally invasive left atrial appendage closure, including the Watchman™ device, to help reduce stroke risk in select patients with atrial fibrillation. Dr. Mayl is committed to delivering personalized, patient-centered care grounded in empathy, clear communication, and clinical excellence. He earned his medical degree from the University of Central Florida College of Medicine in Orlando, Florida, and completed fellowships in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
