Jonathan Mayl, MD

Board-certified interventional cardiologist Jonathan Mayl specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of complex cardiovascular conditions using advanced minimally invasive techniques. He is also board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. His expertise includes cardiac catheterization, coronary angioplasty, stenting, coronary atherectomy, intravascular imaging, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR/TAVI), mitral valve repair, structural heart procedures including patent foramen ovale (PFO), left atrial appendage and other defect closures. Dr. Mayl emphasizes clear communication and evidence-based treatment to help patients make informed decisions about their cardiovascular care. He earned his medical degree from the University of Central Florida in Tampa, Florida, and completed his residency and fellowships in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
