Dr. Jonathan Mayl, MD, is a highly qualified board-certified interventional cardiologist practicing at FryeCare Cardiology in Hickory, North Carolina. He holds certifications in internal medicine, nuclear cardiology, cardiovascular disease and echocardiography. He offers a patient-centered approach rooted in empathy, clear communication and clinical excellence. His expertise includes advanced, minimally invasive procedures such as transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI/TAVR), mitral valve repair for regurgitation and closure techniques for conditions such as patent foramen ovale (PFO) and the left atrial appendage procedures designed to reduce stroke risk in patients with atrial fibrillation.
