Lakshmi Kallur, MD

Dr. Lakshmi Kallur, a board-certified pulmonary and critical care medicine physician, specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of complex lung diseases. She evaluates and manages lung nodules, diagnosing lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, chronic cough, pulmonary hypertension, sarcoidosis, interstitial lung disease, obstructive sleep apnea and Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency. Dr. Kallur performs advanced diagnostic procedures, including robotic-assisted bronchoscopy and endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), to support early diagnosis and treatment planning. As part of FryeCare Thoracic Oncology Clinic, she works closely with thoracic surgeons and multidisciplinary care teams to coordinate treatment and improve patient outcomes. Dr. Kallur earned her medical degree from the American University of Antigua in Coolidge, Antigua, completed her residency at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee, and completed her fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina.
