Muhammad Alvi, MD

Dr. Muhammad Alvi is a board-certified physician in pulmonary, critical care and internal medicine who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of complex lung conditions. His clinical interests include lung cancer, pulmonary nodules, advanced COPD and asthma, interstitial lung disease and other advanced respiratory disorders. Dr. Alvi uses advanced diagnostic technologies, including endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), navigational bronchoscopy and robotic-assisted bronchoscopy, to support early detection, accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. He focuses on evidence-based care that helps improve outcomes and quality of life. Dr. Alvi earned his medical degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan, completed his residency at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, Connecticut, and completed his fellowship at State University of New York in Syracuse, New York.
