As a resident of Indiana, Dr. Patel received his undergraduate at DePauw University graduating with Honors Cum Laude. He then went on to earn his medical degree at the Indiana University School of Medicine. After completing his residency and cardiology fellowship, Dr. Patel received Interventional training at the Indiana Heart Institute at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Dr. Vincent Patrone is a board-certified interventional cardiologist on staff at Frye Regional Medical Center. Dr. Patrone served as an Associate Professor of Medicine and practiced cardiology at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, New York for 9 years prior to coming to Hickory. He’s been practicing at the Frye Heart Center for 19 years and specializes in an expansive range of cardiovascular diagnostics and interventions, including echocardiology, pacemaker evaluation, lipid profiling and nuclear cardiology. He now practices at FryeCare Cardiology Associates providing cardiovascular care to Hickory and throughout the Unifour area.

Lisa Robinson, RN, MSN, ACNP, is the Director of FryeCare Cardiology Associates’ Heart Failure Clinic.
She received her Diploma in nursing at Mercy School of Nursing in Canton, Ohio in 1976 and received her BSN and MSN at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. She received her post graduate acute care nurse practitioner certificate at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston Texas and her doctoral work remains in progress.
Lisa has been a Stellar Scholarship recipient and has been awarded the PACE Award, a Peer Award for Clinical Excellence.
She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She is also a member of the Heart Failure Society of America, American College of Cardiology, American Association of Heart Failure Nurses, and American Association of Critical Care Nurses.
Lisa’s specializations include heart failure, solid organ transplants: specifically heart, kidney, pancreas and liver, Adult Critical Care, and Cardiology including EECP treatments.
