Ailisa Smith, MD

Board-Certified in Family Medicine

Originally from Clemmons, North Carolina, Dr. Smith completed her medical degree and residency at Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She enjoys caring for patients from all walks of life taking into account the dynamics of their families to provide the best care possible. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice and has extensive experience in women’s health, obesity management and counselling. When she is not treating patients she enjoys spending time with her husband and four children, being outdoors and trying new recipes.

Catherine Nelson, PA-C

Board-Certified Physician Assistant​

Originally from Hickory, Catherine comes from a family of physicians. For as long as she can remember, she has wanted to help people. As a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants and Association of Family Practice for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, she has experience treating a variety of conditions including obesity, skin cancers and pediatric and adult urologic problems. When she is not treating patients, Catherine enjoys cooking, hiking, kickboxing and spending time with her family and friends.

Jeremy Jones, PA-C

Board-Certified Physician Assistant​

Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, Jeremy moved to North Carolina in 2008 when he joined the Marine Corps. After finishing his enlistment, he went on to work and volunteer with EMS which ultimately lead him to become a Physician Assistant through the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. His goal is to truly get to know his patients and provide them with the tools they need to live long, healthy lives.

He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and has an interest in pediatrics, dermatology, and infectious diseases. When he is not treating patients, Jeremy enjoys spending time with his wife on their mini-farm, building and racing cars and exploring the outdoors.
